Annie Pancak Vogt is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker and journalist who brings human stories to life onscreen.
She is currently an MFA candidate in Cinema at San Francisco State University, where she also instructs undergraduate students in filmmaking and theory classes. Previously, Annie was the senior video producer on the features team at legal news outlet Law360. Her reporting garnered industry awards in interviewing and visual storytelling.
Annie's recent short film "Conceiving Our Future" documents a young couple’s decision not to have children amidst the climate crisis. Their parents react to the news, sparking an inter-generational dialogue about the meaning of hope in a world on fire. The film has screened at DOC NYC, the Green Film Festival of San Francisco, and the Oregon Documentary Film Festival.
